The Problem:
California’s imperiled State Parks face irreparable damage. Twice in the past two years, state parks were on the brink of being shut down and in 2010 park’s funding faces total elimination from the state’s budget.
The Solution:
Prop. 21, a ballot measure slated for Nov. 2, will create a stable source of funding for state parks. California vehicles will get free day-use admission in exchange for a new $18 annual fee.
